04Past clues become weapons.████████████

SECTION 05A·DESIGNER COMMENTARY

INVESTIGATOR NOTES

The flip mechanic means clues from Rounds 1–2 can be weaponized later. A player who looked majority might now be a flipper, and their 'majority-coded' early clues become evidence that they were deflecting. Adds a meta-layer to a familiar game.

SECTION 05B·3 TIPS — OPS-LEVEL

FIELD ADVICE

  • 01
    Don’t lock in too soon
A clue that confirms you in R1 can sink you if you flip in R3.
  • 02
    Track clue trajectories
Players whose clues drift toward "category" rather than "thing" are hedging — likely Blank or future flippers.
  • 03
    Punish the silent
Vague short clues from confident players in R2 are the strongest flip-tell.
SECTION 06·CHOOSE OPERATIONAL MODE
